Grant access without staff intervention?

Do you have a large space where you want to start Self Storage? Or do you have a self storage branch, but you no longer want to be tied to permanent staff on location during opening hours? Then an unmanned system can offer a solution. Guests can rent a space from you online, and then, via a downloadable app, grant themselves access to the branch and the rented unit. All this without the need for staff to receive guests and hand out access means.

Rent units online

There are now reservation packages available for Self Storage, including Store 365, which allows your potential tenants to reserve and pay for a unit online. Simply from the comfort of their own home. Your guest indicates how big the space should be and rents a space from you online.

Issuing an access key

You can set up your system so that your tenants, after signing the lease and paying, receive an SMS with a verification code and a link to the App Store or Google Play, to download the access app. After downloading the app, the tenant enters the verification code
once, after which the app is ready to use. No hassle with issuing cards or keys. No hassle with loose locks for the doors. No hassle with deposits. Your tenants simply use the app, which provides access to the grounds, access to the main building, access to the elevator and access to the rented unit.

How can unmanned Self Storage be realised?

What is needed to run your branch unmanned are the following:

  • A website where people can make their reservation.
  • Keypads for access (= option)
  • SC Lock Door locks that can be opened by control
  • The access app that can be downloaded by your tenants
  • Optional Boxwatchers to secure the units on an individual level

An app for administrators

To keep a good overview, SC Solutions BV has also developed an administrator app. In this app it is possible to keep a good overview of the people who visit your branch. You can view reports of the number of visits, but also have insight into alarms that are generated.
In addition, the administrator also has the option to grant himself access.
